Get to know the Polygone Skating-rink better

Located in the heart of the Polygone sports complex in Valencia, the newly renovated Agglo Skating-rink has 1800 m² of ice surface dedicated to multiple activities in complete safety. This inter-communal skating-rink provides visitors with 750 pairs of skates and approved helmets for hire.

The three sports clubs in the disciplines of figure skating, hockey and curling from Valentine practice and organize events all year round.

It is also the venue for schoolchildren, numerous international shows, sporting events such as hockey matches and figure skating championships.

Whether you come to the Valencia skating-rink alone, with friends or family, we offer you individual rates as well as very attractive group rates. You even have the opportunity to privatize the skating-rink for an event. The staff will give you a warm welcome and a hot spot is available at the edge of the rink.

Access to the skating-rink in Valencia

The opening hours of the skating-rink in Valencia vary according to the annual periods, so don’t hesitate to ask for information before you travel.

• Outside school holidays, come to the skating-rink on the following days:
• Wednesdays from 2pm to 6pm
• Thursday from 8pm to 11pm
• Saturday from 2pm to 6pm
• Sunday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm
• During school holidays, here are the schedules:
• Monday to Saturday from 2pm to 6pm
• Sunday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm

Attention, the skating-rink closes exceptionally several days in the year namely: January 1st, May 1st, May 8th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.

The annual closure is from July to August. It is advisable to arrive before 5 pm, the evacuation of the tracks is effective thirty minutes before closing time.

The Agglo skating-rink is close to the Atrium Hotel in Valencia. You can easily get there on foot in a few minutes. Leaving the 4-star luxury hotel, head towards Avenue de Romans and then towards Allée Raymond Mias.

If you are coming by car from the Atrium Hotel, take Avenue de la Marne then Avenue Georges Clémenceau to Allée Raymond Mias. The De La Patinoire car park is free of charge and is located near the sports complex.

Things worth knowing

The Valencia Figure Skating Club has been in existence for over 40 years. It allows a multitude of groups to practice this discipline in leisure or in competition with the supervision of two qualified coaches. A dozen volunteers brimming with dynamism take part in the life of the Drôme-Ardèche skating-rink club.

Come and see one of the two fantastic annual shows during your holidays in Valence: the Christmas gala in mid-December or the end-of-season show.
